Tuesday Night
I'm laying in bed with my laptop right now as Michael is riding with the Hoggs (all three of them) to the softball game. I'd rather be with them, but I've got a sore tummy. I've barely even eaten anything since lunch - if you know me well at all, you know it hurts if I don't even feel like eating. Odds are I'll feel just fine in the morning. I never get a sick day. Maybe my doctor will make me update another vaccination this year. That's the last time I had a sick day - almost exactly a year ago when I had my tetanus vaccine updated. I was really sick though. I'm not sure it's worth that. Sure could use a day off, though.
This set of pics is from last week's softball practice. Last week's game was kind of awesome. Sunday was the first time they'd practiced together and it made a HUGE difference. Go figure! They won by one point and they didn't even have the last bat. They really looked great out there. Wish I was watching them tonight! Michael's mom is there tonight, though, so I'm not worried about them lacking a cheering section. My fingers are crossed for them!
Also - for the past, like, 2 hours (not to mention about an hour yesterday) I've been reading the Pioneer Woman's love story. It is soooo great! I'm loving it. It's really long! I think I'm only a little over half finished with it, but you should definitely read it! http://www.thepioneerwoman.com/ then choose Confessions and then choose Black Heels and just start at chpt. 1. So much fun! I will admit that I snuck a few chapters in at work. I can count that as my smoke break, right Boss? Yikes.

Also...
Something is wrong with my background. I'm not sure what I did. I could use some help if anyone knows how to fix it!
Music Together
My friends Heather and Laura have the best job in the world! They are both piano teachers, but they also teach a class called Music Together. The class is for kids from 0-4 and pretty much all they do is sing songs and have a good time. (The songs all have different musical elements in them that they are introducing to the kids.) They were sweet enough to let me come and take pictures one Saturday while they taught their class. I was a little worried that the camera would make the kids shy, but I think it was really the opposite. They all seemed to be very familiar with having their picture taken! They just sang and danced, and yes, Miss Presley is wearing a blue and green tutu that - get this - her granddad picked out for her. How cute is that?

Well Hello, Hudson!
I had such a good week this past week! I got to take so many pictures! First was Hudson Lane Hogg's first photo shoot, and second was a preschool music class that my friend, Heather, teaches. Both were adorable and made for some really great shots, but I want them both to have their own post. So Hudson comes first. I'm pretty sure Meagan has all the pictures on her facebook page, but I am only going to post my very favorites.
Also - If you are willing to let me practice my portrait-shooting-skills on your own child, I would gladly do so!
Isn't he just the sweetest?!

New Pictures and More to Come!
My daddy told me that when I was little I was perfectly content to play by myself for long stretches. Sometimes he'd get to wondering where I was and Momma would say, "She's off somewhere doing Jenni things."
Who knows how true that story is. You can never be sure with Daddy - Momma can't even always tell when he's making stuff up. True or not - it's a good story and I can see it being true.
Tonight is my first truly free night in about three weeks. I am at home doing Jenni things. Michael is at choir and I have free reign of the TV (Gilmore Girls - on pause while I cook), the computer (Miranda Lambert's Myspace page - Me and Charlie Talkin') and blogspot (obviously) and what I eat for dinner (cheesy mac - mmm yum!)
It is so relaxing to be in my pj's with nowhere to go, but the stuff I've been doing for the past three weeks has also been wonderful. I don't have pictures from all of it, but I do have some from the DNow I led this past weekend. What sweet, fun girls I had! Mine was the 10th grade girls group and I had such a good time with them! I think they were the easiest DNow group I've ever had. They participated; they were nice to each other; they had great attitudes the entire weekend! Seriously - not one grump among them, not even in the morning. And our hosts were just so sweet to me and the girls both. DNows can be really - ummm - sanctifying! experiences, but sweet is just the best way to describe my weekend. Thanks girls, thanks hosts, thank you, Jesus!

Check Me Out!
I'm so excited I am starting to figure this blog thing out. I need to figure out how to put my JifferDoodle logo that Travis designed for me as my title. I think I'll get there. I definitely like my background now better than before. Howevvver, there is that annoying little Cutest Blog on the Block icon right smack in the middle of everything. How obnoxious! Does anyone know how to make that go away? Okay - you're getting a picture that I took. Which one.....???
